Colin is a chartered accountant with extensive business experience.
He has occupied various senior management positions in both public and private companies. He has worked in several different industries, including aluminium, building, ceramic tiles, engineering, granite, education, hotels and corporate finance.
He is currently a director of a number of companies, one of which is GoalFix (Pty) Ltd, a financial management consultancy, which operates in all aspects of corporate finance, and specifically in the arena of corporate performance improvement, financial health assessments, and building of complex financial models using Excel.
Colin has built many financial models using Excel as the modelling platform and started his modelling activities in the early 80s. A detailed list of clients is shown below.
Colin became involved in lecturing and personal executive coaching in 1998 when he presented "Financial Courses for Non-Financial Managers" (Understanding Corporate Financial Performance) on behalf of The Mast Consulting Group.
Since that date he has presented the following courses both locally and internationally on numerous occasions:

b. Advanced Corporate Financial Modelling
c. Project Financial Modelling
d. Real Estate Financial Modelling (a course developed with Prof. Francois Viruly of Wits University)
