He is an expert in designing proprietary analytical products that meet wide-ranging user needs, expedite origination, ensure structuring and execution accuracy, comply with accounting rules, and incorporate the principles of sound financial analysis.
Formerly a Vice-President in JP Morgan’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Jim has developed many major financial analysis, valuation, transaction,and taxation models for investment banks. Jim has an M.B.A. degree in Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University and a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology. He holds a CFA charter, certificates as a Certified Public Accountant in Washington and Delaware, and is a memberof the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CFA Institute. Jim is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and served on the organisation’s Committee for Improved Corporate Reporting. He is the author of the definitive text “Accounting for M&A, Equity, and Credit Analysts” (McGraw-Hill).
