Richard Capps is a world-renowned project finance practitioner and consultant with more than 25 years of project finance industry experience. Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, Richard was the Chief Financial Officer of a major conglomerate, involved in resort / hotel development, media and entertainment. During his 6-year tenure, Richard undertook the management of 23 equity raisings ($1.3 billion), 14 acquisitions, and major complex financings (aggregating $3.2 billion).
After graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge with a degree in Law and upon becoming a Barrister, Richard started his career as a banker with Chase Manhattan in New York and London, covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Richard then moved to Schroders and HSBC in the Asia Pacific region, holding various structured fi nance director positions.
